Text Box: Pleasant View Opus
Text Box: Pleasant View Shannon
Born: September 10, 2007
Sire: Grand Sun Donovan
Dam: Pat's Belle by Joanna's Noble
Shannon was our last foal of 2007. She wasn't born until fall, but she was well worth the wait. Like her half brother, Opus, she has huge feet. When we weaned her in January we thought we may have a wildcat on our hands. She was full of mischief and vigor. Thanks to the assistance of one of Lynn's students, Shannon has become an excellent filly, easy to handle, with a sweet disposition. She has a very soft eye and mild manner. She carries herself with grace and beauty, like her mother, and can she ever move. Shannon will make a wonderful addition to our band of brood mares in another year or so.
Text Box: Pleasant View Opus
Born: June 7, 2007
Sire: Grand Sun Donovan
Dam: Corilda Ruby
by Ryan Day Diamond Ernie Dragano
Opus is quite the boy. Like both mommy and daddy, he has massive feet. When he moves his back legs move just like pistons. We are very excited about our future with this big boy. He has a very mild personality, very easy to live with. Opus will be one of our future herd sires.

Pleasant View Joseph
Born: May 6, 2007
Sire: Pleasant View Duke
Dam: Elkview Jessica by Elkview Lincoln II
Joe is a herd sire or hitch gelding prospect. Duke stamped all of his colts with his powerful front end and beautiful presence. Duke is also putting a nice set of feet on his colts, something that is desperately needed in the Percheron world these days.

Text Box: Lazy 5 Admiral's Angel
Born: Summer 2007
Sire: Pleasant View Admiral
Dam:
Angel comes to us by way of Mr. Henry Hampton. Yes, that is a very white left hind leg, it is not a cast. But, does color really matter if you have quality? Angel is very sweet, just like her grandma, Vintage Dexter's Anna. She has grandma's soft eyes and sweet disposition. She is also a very free mover, just like grandma. Her sire, Pleasant View Admiral, was a special horse, as are his offspring. We are very happy to have acquired one of his very special progeny.
