Sire: Daleview Princeton
Dam:  Blue Ridge Starlight Beauty
by South Valley Did-It and out of Lady Koncar Chief (by Starlight Koncar Chief)

God is so good! When we moved to our farm, almost three years ago, some of our first visitors was a couple from Florida who were new to the world of draft horses. They purchased two mares and two stud colts that day, one of which was Beauty's colt, Pleasant View Stormy by Daleview Princeton. We knew this was a special boy, but God had a special place and mission for him, away from the Pleasant View farm. Stormy became a very important member of his new family and their new non-profit organization, Harvesters Limited.
As time progressed, Jose' and Melissa Antunez, Stormy's new owners, developed a plan to move to Jose's home country of Honduras. They have established a non-profit organization, Harvesters Limited. The goal of this Christian organization is to teach the Honduran people how to develop and sustain farming skills with the assistance of draft animals, and to teach them how to provide for themselves so they can live a healthier lifestyle and improve their quality of life.
At the end of 2007, Jose' and Melissa moved from Naples, FL to Honduras to begin the backbreaking labor of developing their ranch for this endeavor. Much work needs to be completed in order to prepare to bring the horses to Honduras. The construction of the barn and fences will be completed with very primitive hand tools and machetes, without the aid of power tools.
It is going to take a lot of money to get the horses transported to their new home once it is ready. This is where Stormy becomes a blessing. All service fees collected for Stormy will be paid directly to Harvesters Limited to assist with their expenses. To read more about this ambitious organization visit their web site at www.harvesters101.com.
Stormy is loaded with style and extreme movement, like his mother. Breed your mares to Stormy for a superior, modern style colt, while supporting a very noble cause.

Please note: Mare care charges will be paid to the farm where the horse is standing at the time of service, in addition to the service fee which will be paid directly to Harvesters Limited.

 Windsong's Grant
Born: March 17, 2004
Sire: Chevron
Dam:  Windsong's Jasmine
Owner: Dennis Mays
This is one of Lynn's favorite stallions. It is his opinion that this is the type of horse that can improve and sustain the breed. With this in mind, we have chosen to breed our best mares to this stallion in 2008.
Pleasant View Marisol is currently visiting Grant at Dennis' farm in Fredricksburg, OH. Plans are currently to AI Marisol's full sisters, Pleasant View Mystique and Pleasant View Mercedes, to Grant after they foal this spring. These three ladies are part of the "royal family" as they are the full sisters of the Pleasant View stallions; King, Duke and Baron. Only the best will do for these ladies, and we think we have found "the best" for them in Grant.
In addition to be named the Reserved Grand Champion Stallion as a two year old at the World Percheron Congress in 2006, Grant was recently named the three year old All-American Stallion for 2007!
We don't usually take our horses into the show ring ourselves ... But ... with a combination such as this, you might want to be prepared for us in 2010!

Pleasant View Duke (292077)
Born: May 8, 2001
Sire: MG's Prince
Dam:  Northwood's Starlight Nicole
Owners: Lynn MacVey and Joe Yoder
Like a fine wine, this stud just keeps getting better as he ages. This 18 hand big boy is loaded with substance and style. His offspring have exceeded our greatest expectations. Duke is consistently turning out colts with good size feet and tremendous presence. Duke is every bit as good, if not better than his older famous brother, Pleasant View King.
Duke stands at the farm of Joe Yoder in Bloomfield, Iowa. Duke is available for on-farm breeding only. Contact Joe Yoder for further breeding information.
