Text Box: Pleasant View Emperor
Text Box: Text Box: Pleasant View Emperor
Born: May 6, 2008
Sire: GT's Hallmark
Dam: Pleasant View Mercedes by MG's Prince
He's Here! He's Here!
I guess Mercedes and Mystique thought this having baby stuff was a competition, or something. It finally took a good thunderstorm to get Mercedes to lay down and get things over with. In the end, she was exhausted, and so were we. Believe me, this is no little boy. He is every bit as good as what we were expecting. There is no shortage of foot and bone on this big stud.
Text Box: Pleasant View Jewel
Born: April 17, 2008
Sire: Pleasant View Duke
Dam: Lane's End Jen by MG's Prince
As always, they have 'em when your not looking. Jewel was born early Thursday morning. She is a a very long legged filly, and, as Lynn keeps saying, "just look at those pasterns"! Jen is a very broody mare with a nice middle to grow a whopping foal, of which, Jewel is proof. We are very pleased with our precious gem!

Text Box: Pleasant View Monarch
Born: May 7, 2008
Sire: GT's Hallmark
Dam:  Pleasant View Mystique by MG's Prince
Look Out World, Pleasant View is on a Roll!
Can they get any better than this. We are having an incredible year of babies. Each and every one is big, beautiful and stamped with Pleasant View poise and pride. Monarch is no exception. Mystique cooked this one extra long in order to produce the finest product possible. He is no disappointment. Pair this big boy up with Emperor and you have yourself one heck of a royal wheel team. All I can say is WOW!
Text Box: Pleasant View Duchess
Born: May 23, 2008
Sire: Pleasant View Duke
Dam:  Elkview Jessica by Elkview Lincoln II
Duchess is a regal lady. I suppose she warrants becoming part of the royal family since her sire is the Duke of Pleasant View. Duchess is a very big girl, 45 inches tall at the shoulder at birth. She was almost looking us straight in the eye at one day old. A big girl born with very little effort on mother's part. Jessica is an excellent, nurturing mother. Duchess can hold her own against the little boys, too. We can't wait to pair her up with Jen's filly, Jewel, in a couple of years. They should make quite the team!
Text Box: Pleasant View Opal
Born: June 6, 2008
Sire: Pleasant View Duke
Dam:  Corilda Ruby by Ryan Day Diamond Ernie Dragano
Ruby has delivered a special little girl needing lots of TLC. She has had a rough start to her life, needing to be hand fed the first 24 hours, but we are very happy to report that she is now getting up and nursing on her own. We have named this precious little gem Opal.

Text Box: Pleasant View Marissa
Born: April 7, 2008
Sire: Pleasant View Duke
Dam: Pleasant View Maria by Chevron
The delivery of Maria's first baby went well. We are extremely excited to have our first Duke filly. This little girl is precious, like her mother. She is a beautiful, very feminine filly, all black with a star. Maria is a very attentive, loving mother. This baby is represents the third generation of this particular bloodline of Pleasant View horses on our farm at the present time. She truly is a very special baby.
Text Box:  Pleasant View Troubadour
Born: March 27, 2008
Sire: Pleasant View Duke
Dam: Windsong's Val by Chevron
Our first baby of 2008! Good things come to those who wait. Great things come to those who are impatient! We could hardly wait for this big boy to be born. He didn't disappoint us, one bit. Val is an 18 hand former All-American. Troubadour, her first foal, is a big, stylish boy. Duke just keeps cranking out these beautiful, long necked babies.
This big boy could be an excellent stallion prospect. Sale Topper? All-American? World Champion? Only time will tell.
