Text Box: Blackhome D Silver (267784)
Born: May 8, 1988
Sire: Highview Dragano
Dam: Black's Diamond Angie  by Rolling Acres Morden Chief
Silver is well traveled. She spent the past year in Ohio and she is now back in the Pleasant View pasture. This big lady is definitely pleasant to view with her beautiful, long swan neck and her extreme action. Silver is currently seeking Baron's affections. We desperately hope that she is successful. What a baby that will be!

Text Box: Text Box:  Pleasant View Maria (297824)
Born: March 26, 2005
Sire: Chevron
Dam:  Pleasant View Marisol by MG's Prince
Maria is our first colt out of Marisol. Even though she got off to a rough start in life, she sustained a large laceration on her front leg as a yearling, she is maturing into quite the mare. She is built a lot like her grandma Northwoods Starlight Nicole. We have every expectation that Maria will be a great broodmare, just like her grandma. Maria has a very sweet disposition. She can move, too! Maria is in foal to Pleasant View Duke for a 2008 foal.

Text Box: Text Box:  Windsong's Val (298386)
Born: February 14, 2005
Sire: Chevron
Dam:  Windsong's Beau's De-Light
by Ironwood Beauregard
Val is true royalty, the 2005 All-American filly foal. She is a big girl at 18 hands. She has all the makings of a future wheel mare. As one of the four Chevron mares in our herd, we are very pleased with Val's first colt by Pleasant View Duke. Val is an excellent first time mother and a joy to be around.

Text Box: Text Box: Pleasant View Mercedes (297727)
Born: May 23, 2004
Sire: M.G.'s Prince
Dam:  Northwood's Starlight Nicole
by Blackhome Duke
Mercedes is another full sister to King, Duke, Baron, Mystique and Marisol. Like her bigger sisters, she is a little princess, or so she thinks. Like her namesake, she is a dreamy driving machine. She naturally lifts her feet way up off the ground and raises that neck into the clouds while cocking her head into swan position. A true Prince daughter, one of the last, as a matter of fact. She is knocking at 18 hands, like her big sisters. Mercedes is in foal to GT's Hallmark for 2008.

Text Box:  Lane's End Jen (295563)
Born: May 18, 2004
Sire: M.G.'s Prince
Dam:  Blackhome Sweet Marie by Highview Dragano
Jen is maturing into a fantastic broody mare. Her body is just made to carry big babies. As she matures she is taking on a lot of character and becoming very pleasant to look at. If she keeps on growing like she has been, she could almost reach 18 hands. Unfortunately we lost her foal this year but he was an outstanding stud colt with a beautiful swan neck which he proudly displayed from the moment of birth, and, he had four black feet! We did have Jen for sale but we have since reconsidered. We just aren't quite ready to part with her yet. Her foal this year had "It"! He was herd sire material. We are wagering that the foal in her belly right now will have the same thing. "It" doesn't get much better than this!

Text Box: Pleasant View Hope (297725)
Born: April 8, 2004
Sire: L.D.'s Prince Genesis
Dam:  J.N.S Rex's Peggy by Blackhome Rex Dragano
Hope is a home grown favorite. She is a beautiful, high headed grey mare with a very gentle disposition. As you can see, we are not afraid of grey. In fact, you need to mix in a little grey every now and then in order to keep the blacks black. Hope's first foal by Duke was outstanding, equipped with an incredibly long neck and long legs, just beautiful, like his mother! We will never give up Hope! She is currently part of Baron's harem.

Text Box: .......... FOR SALE ..........
Elkview Jessica II (296568)
Born: May 12, 2002
Sire: Elkview Lincoln II
Dam: Elkview Josie by General Lee
Jessica is a great outcross mare. We saw her as a two year old in Gordy Joseph's pasture in Manitoba, Canada. Upon seeing her sire we decided we wanted a mare by him. Jessica has produced a couple of outstanding colts for us. We are retaining this year's stud colt by Pleasant View Duke as a herd sire. Jessica is currently in foal to Pleasant View Duke.
Text Box: Pleasant View Marisol (286827)
Born: June 3, 2000
Sire: M.G.'s Prince
Dam: Northwood's Starlight Nicole
by Blackhome Duke
Marisol is a full sister to King, Duke, Baron, Mystique and Mercedes, our royal family! We call her Tubby Butt or Lard Butt, as she seems to gain weight with just the smell of grass. Marisol is Lynn's favorite mare. He says she's pretty complete. I say she's a spoiled princess! She's an overgrown teddy bear. Marisol is currently visiting the 2007 three year old All-American Stallion, Windsong's Grant.
Update: She is officially in foal to Grant!

Text Box: Text Box: Text Box:  Pleasant View Mystique (273616)
Born: May 12, 1994
Sire: M.G.'s Prince
Dam: Northwood's Starlight Nicole
by Blackhome Duke
I have never seen Lynn fuss over a horse the way he has Mystique. We purchased Mystique at the Gray Transportation horse sale early this summer. When we went to the sale, we never thought we would be able to bring her home. When Lynn originally sold her as a yearling, he said she was the runt of the bunch of colts that year. She has grown quite a bit, as she now stands 18 hands. We are very pleased to have this lady back at Pleasant View Farm. Mystique is one of the royal family, a sister of King, Baron, Marisol and Mercedes. These three ladies make up our premiere mare family. Like her sister Mercedes, Mystique is currently in foal to GT's Hallmark for 2008. It is a beautiful sight, looking at the three sisters grazing out in the pasture. It is very easy to see that they are sisters, the mark of premium genetics at their best!

 Corilda Ruby (F30246 Can)
Born: June 2, 1989
Sire: Ryan Day Diamond Ernie Dragano
Dam:  Corilda Jewel by Lo Lynd Joe Laet
We purchased Ruby at the Rose Hill Farm near dispersal sale. Ruby has a unique color. She is a black mare with a silver mane and tail. She has huge feet which she passed on to her stud colt, our future herd sire, Pleasant View Opus. She is currently in foal to Pleasant View Duke for 2008.

Text Box: Blue Ridge Starlight Beauty (268589)
Born: September 28, 1991
Sire: South Valley Did-It
Dam:  Lady Koncar Chief by Starlight Koncar Chief
Beauty is the queen of the farm, and she knows it. She has an incredibly long neck and she moves like a freight train, so make sure you get out of her way. She is loaded with hitchy attitude. Just give her a cookie and she will be your friend. Beauty is the mother of Pleasant View Stormy.

Born: May 15, 1999
Sire: Donamerr's Dexter
Dam: Anchor's Charme by Blackhome Duke
Anna is a very pleasant mare to be around. She has natural fluidity of movement. She's a dream to drive. Her offspring have been outstanding. Anna is truly one of the staples of our breeding operation. She is currently in foal to BP Olympic Gold for 2008.

Text Box: Text Box:                                             Text Box: Pleasant View Alexa (301007)
Born: April 1, 2006
Sire: LD's Prince Genesis
Dam:  Vintage Dexter's Anna
by Donamerr's Dexter
Alexa has been a big girl since the day she was born. She has a very pleasant disposition, just like her mother. We suspect that she may mature out around 18 hands. Alexa has been running with Baron since the first part of 2008. We suspect that she is now in foal to Baron.
Pleasant View Mabel (301008)
Born: May 13, 2006
Sire: Chevron
Dam: Pleasant View Marisol
by MG's Prince
Mabel is one of our favorite brood mare prospects. She is stamped with the head's up, flashy style of her mother. If she keeps growing like she has, she could be as big as her momma at maturity. Mabel's personality is a lot like that of her aunt, Mercedes. She is a very playful girl, always seeking attention. Mabel is another one of Baron's ladies.
Windsong's Janine (300691)
Born: January 18, 2006
Sire: Chevron
Dam: Windsong's Beau's De-Light
by Ironwood Beauregard
Janine (aka: Dennis) is a full sister to Val. She has a long, beautiful head so we suspect she may grow to be a big girl. Janine is a much quieter mare than her big sister, Val. She is built like a brood mare and we suspect she will be an excellent mother, just like her big sister. And, yes, she, too, is one of Baron's ladies.
